Our History
Rusty R. is the owner and lead digital artist of The Rusty Pixel. Rusty moved to Brevard County, Florida in 1996 from the Mid-West and has been involved with digital media since he was 12 years old.
Rusty completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. After graduating second in his class, Rusty worked at the Orlando 2d/3d graphic design firm The Ballistic Pixel.
In 2003, Rusty went solo and opened the web design and video production studio Digital Illusions Lab in downtown Tampa. Finally, in 2006 Rusty relocated back to the beautiful Space Coast and launched The Rusty Pixel and has been working full-time creating web sites and digital art ever since.
Today, The Rusty Pixel is celebrating its 9th year in business. We serve clients all over Florida, United States and throughout the world. We look forward to working with you to create a fabulous web site, logo, or print/graphic design project.
